Where We Want to Be is a roomy four-bedroom house on Springport Cove Road, set right on the eastern shore of Cayuga Lake. There’s space for the whole family or a couple of households to spread out, a kitchen stocked for real cooking, and a dock for swimming, fishing and tying up a boat.

Union Springs is a quiet village on the east side of Cayuga Lake, the longest of the Finger Lakes. It’s an easy base for a week of lake days with wine country, farm stands and small-town dinners all within a short drive.
